I am in Magic Wood, Switzerland and it’s the shit!  General Corn Wallace and I have been here for about 5 or so days and the climbing is amazing.  My finger is a bit tweaked from the UBC competition at the Nor’easter, but it is starting to feel better and everything is wonderful.  I will be writing a nice report on the first few days tomorrow (rest day), but in the meantime here are some photos and what we’ve been doing so far:

The town of Ausserferrara just above the boulder field which is in the trees down canyon on the left.

The Hostel (the large white building) that we are staying in until the 10th of October, where we will move into an apartment in Ticino!

General Corn Wallace and our room in the hostel.  It’s pretty much empty except for our Norwegian friend Tore, and the place kind of reminds me of a prison.  Lots of cement.  However, if nuclear war breaks out, I am certain we will survive!

More photos and updates tomorrow.
