Recovering from a spontaneous pneumothorax and coping with the loss of some of that youthful feeling of immortality have consumed my last week for the most part. It has not been fun, but as much as I resist it, a forced rest is probably a good thing for me. I’ve been branching out and spending time doing things that for the most part, I generally don’t have time to do (or don’t make time for). Most of those things are pretty boring, like dealing with taxes, bills, and other responsibilities, but I bave also been slaving away on the new film Heritage, which is very close to being finished, but because of my own stubbornness for perfection, still remains as 90% complete. Look for it soon.
I have also had the opportunity to use my camera equipment for something other than climbing (how refreshing!) and took some photos of my girlfriend looking pretty in the last light looking over Boulder. I figured it would be cool to share the resulting images on the blog. Maybe someday I will put together a photo site to share the massive amount of images hidden on my hard drives. As much as I love shooting and sharing climbing shots, it’s cool to explore something new.
