The weather has been staying nice out here in Switzerland! I’ve been working on some of the harder things in the area. Made some nice progress on the Dagger V14 out in Cresciano. Checked out Brione, best rock on the planet! Magic Wood got a little wet over the last few days. Prior to the bad weather, I got really close to finishing off Practice of the Wild V15 on my 3rd day of effort. I stuck the crux move first try that day from the bottom of the hard climbing (3 moves from the start). That was last week. We ventured back up to Magic Wood today hoping for dry weather and we were pleasantly surprised. The start holds of Practice were wet, but everything else was in good shape. I gave some goes from the bottom (after coating the start holds with chalk) and nearly climbed the boulder. “Nearly” is the key word. Couldn’t quite pull it together. More rain/snow for the “Wood” tomorrow, but the weekend forecast looks great! Fucking hell, I want to climb that boulder. Pinches and slopes on a ROOF!!!!! More updates/photos/video to come soon…
the move was on your leg. good effort.
