My list of climbs to finish in RMNP is dwindling. However, recent development in SUPER CHAOS is promising to keep things interesting for a while. Very few left in Lower Chaos though. I’ve been working on Freaks Of The Industry V13, for as long as I can remember. I always thought it would be the last one on the list. It’s a particularly difficult climb for me. I have to heel-hook, which I suck at. I have to crimp… And I had to sort out some short person beta, that added a number of difficult moves that taller folks can typically avoid. I’m not complaining. I’ve always enjoyed the challenge that Freaks presented me. That’s why I’m excited to say that the challenge has come to an end. I pulled it all together. Yay! And there is send footage! But in the meantime, here are some pics courtesy of the always motivated Drew LaPlante:
The conditions in the Alpine are getting PRIME. I plan on spending a lot of time amongst the real rocks in the weeks leading up to the Nor’Easter and my trip to Switzerland. The season is upon us!
